This month we have another Back-to-School sample! This month’s sample gives not only you a chance to create something but also is a great opportunity for you to create something special with your kids or grandkids.
This month we are sending out mini UHU Twist & Glue’s and a Saunders aluminum accessory box.
The mini UHU Twist & Glue is of course a great all purpose adhesive. Can stick almost anything to any surface and yet washes away with simple soap and water. Plus, it’s not damaged by freezing. Believe me it works! Take a look at my license plate! It’s still there today even after going through the car wash the other day!
Our bonus gift for this month is the Saunders aluminum accessory box. This box is made of 100% durable aluminum and fits pens, pencils, memory cards, business cards, crayons or markers and much more.
Here’s what I did with mine for my son Max:
I printed off some simple ABC’s and 123’s plus sign, minus sign, and stars. Then found some flaming sports ball images (because my son loves sports), cut all of them out and used UHU Tac to figure out where I wanted to place them. After I had everything where I wanted it, I glued everything down with UHU Twist & Glue, making sure to get right to the edge of all the pieces but not use too much glue. With UHU Twist & Glue, “a dab with do you” as they say.
I also just for some added fun I used Tac to raise the center of the balls off the box to give it some texture.
Then to personalize it a bit I took a permanent marker and wrote, “Notes from Mom” on the inside flap and then with a dry erase marker I wrote a little message to my son which I can change daily for him.
If you would like this month’s sample of UHU Twist & Glue and Saunders aluminum accessory box email me with your name, blog address and mailing address and I’ll get the samples to you. Look here for further sample program rules.
Can’t wait to see what you create,
Alyssa

What a wonderful pencil box you made for your son. It is so colorful and great for a boy. I love that you made the balls dimensional by using the TAC. Great idea! Now I am off to take the challenge.
