Hi everyone,

Hope you are all staying warm during this cold snap…it’s not too bad here in Maine - seasonal actually - but I know that’s of little comfort to those where below freezing temps are a rarity. So - stay inside and work on your UHU projects. We’ve got one sample left for this month - or you can pick the supplies up at your local AC Moore shop -  that’s where we got paper and candy boxes.

Here’s another design idea from UHU Gluer Halle, in her own words:

I cheated like Sarah and pulled the box apart shortly after receiving it.
The flattened box was used as a stencil on the back of the paper I wanted to use.
I made score lines with a bone folder before attaching it with the glue roller.
A craft knife was used to cut around the box.
Next a dye based ink pad was rubbed all over the inside of the flattened box. (I think I’d skip this step If I were to do it again.) I used UHU twist & glue to reassemble the box.
Small motifs were cut and attached with the glue roller.
The glue roller was also used to attach the decorative ribbon and the glitter.
A small piece of pale pink netting was knotted and placed in side for added interest.

Sorry, Nancy - we’re all out. But these little boxes are available at AC Moore and UHU gluer rollers are carried at most big craft stores. We’ll have a new sample and project in early February..so stay tuned..and thanks for checking out the blog. :)
