Ok - for all you folks who are waiting for, or have gotten your Saunders mini clipboards in the mail with your UHU - here’s another clipboard project idea from our Gluer Halle.

We are ALL OUT of samples for the rest of November, but if you want to try out your own clipboard decorating skills - it’s easy to get a hard- board clipboard at Office Max, Staples or other office supplies shop. Grab your UHU and any other supplies and craft away.

If you post your project and used UHU - we’ll include a photo and your blog link in an upcoming clipboard gallery post. Of course, you have to let us know when it’s posted via a comment or email.  But without further ado, here’s Halle’s clipboard project, with a charming antique photo and vibrant artwork.

Materials:

small Saunders clipboard
alcohol ink
craft paints
assorted papers
paper flowers
script rubber stamp
dye based ink pads
small brad
chip board letters
ribbon
UHU glue stic
UHU twist & glue

Directions:

1. Apply alcohol ink to metal clip structure.
2. Paint clipboard with craft paint.
3. UHU glue stick was used to attach the assorted papers in layers
until the desired look was achieved.
4. A dye based ink pad and a script rubber stamp was used to give the
larger cream flower some extra flair.
5. Chipboard letters were painted with craft paint to give a cohesive
look.
6. The paper flowers and chipboard letters were attached with UHU
twist & glue
7. Coordinating ribbons were tied through the hole in the clip for a
finishing touch.
