Can you believe it is the last week in January already? With that in mind, here are a few more candy box project samples to appreciate….working on the project for February, so stay tuned. The new sample should be up the week of the 8th.

Gluer Elizabeth went up down and around on this project, but in the end, turned out a sweet little box: I covered my box with heart tissue and decorated it with two free form hearts on both sides using the paper UHU sent this month. Love the hearts - perfect for Feb 14th!

Gluer Deanne did up the bow on the box and embellished around the outside with a little love.

One of our reviewers, Daphne, had papers that would appeal to all you non-pink loving crafters out there (myself included!) and worked the papers inside and outside of the tiny box. And then used some of the embellishments to make gift tags to go along. Nice job everyone!

Snowing again here in beautiful Maine - but if you are not outside playing in the white fluffy stuff, try out this UHU candy box project from UHU Gluer Jessica:

Here’s what I did:

I traced the outline of the box on one of the pieces of patterned paper. Then I cut it out and adhered it to the box using my UHU roller (my favorite glue of all! :) Then I took some ribbon and tied a bow around the top of the box. I used some scrapbooker’s floss and strung the pretty little wooden heart on that and hung it from the front of the box. Super cute and easy. I filled it with M & M’s and gave it to a co-worker who loved it.
Two cards were made from the leftover paper scraps. One card is simply the paper folded in half. I added the “i love u” and the heart as well as the pearl embellishments. The other card used some scraps, cut into small rectangles and used the Uhu tape runner to place them unevenly on the front. Added a flower, ribbons & a button for embellishment and put a small “hi” in the bottom corner.
