Before taking off for merry ol’ England, I took a look back at some of the great projects everyone been using UHU for. Many of these are from September - which was a very creative month. Check out these great projects using UHU Twist & Glue , UHU Tac, the UHU Glue Dots Roller and the UHU Glue Stick.

First I’ll start off with our Gluers…

Mary's clipboard Christmas gift

Mary Anderson created a fabulous Christmas gift for a friend using her October sample bonus Saunders clipboard and UHU Glue Dots Roller and also made a gorgeous Postage kit box for last month’s sample. To check out more projects by Mary, hop over to her blog, It’s All About The Journey.

Gluer Jessica Erwin created this really inventive project using her UHU Twist & Glue. She created a Halloween advent calendar. I’m rooting for her to get on a Christmas one. :) Love to see that one. To check out all of Jessica’s projects visit her blog, So Completely Random.

Now for some other UHUers (I just made that up and I like it. You might see it more):

Lydia over at Understand Blue has been busy at work using her UHU Glue Dots Roller creating “friendly” cards.

Lori at Stamp Scents has created a magnificent Halloween chipboard and a “cuter than a bugs ear” welcome baby card using her UHU Glue Stick.

Lindy over at One Crafty Me put together a very vintage looking clipboard and and a “funky cool” altered accessory box using her UHU Glue Dots Roller.

Nita at Copy Cat Scrapper used UHU Glue to alter a cigar box that came out fabulous!

Cheryl Horton at Inspire Me has inspired me to create her altered clipboard project using her UHU Glue Dots Roller, making it into a school organizer clipboard.

Shelly Hickox made a beautiful vintage-looking Saunders aluminum accessory box. Check it out at Stamp Tramp.

Dawn Mercedes at Amusing Musings & Things got excited over the awesome benefits of the UHU Glue Dots Roller on her cards and the Saunders mini clipboard. Head over to her blog to see what I’m talking about.

This next project is so inventive. Brenda Hess at My Sonshine & My Little Bird found a new purpose for the Saunders Accessory box. It’s great!

Keep them coming!

UHU TacI’ve decided that I might have to change my favorite UHU Glue in my profile. Why, you ask? Well, I’ve decided that UHU Tac is a glue of wonders. I  recognized that there were many surprising uses for glues like the original UHU Glue Stick, UHU Twist & Glue, and the UHU Glue Roller but UHU Tac takes the cake.

It all started when I was talking to my son’s teacher about UHU Glue Sticks and the blog and she asked me if I had any of the “putty stuff” to stick things up on the wall. I of course said, “Sure do,” and asked her why.

She explained that because it was a new school they didn’t want the teachers to use tacks or staples in the walls leaving holes and tape could also leave marks - leaving teachers very little choice to hang decorations, student work and awards.

So I got to thinking, “There must be lots of teachers and homeschoolers that have this same issue.”

It’s great to be able to easily switch out wall themes and projects. For art teachers and ”traveling teachers” (including demonstrators), Tac allows them to easily post samples up on a wall or board without the sticky mess of tape. For homeschoolers it allows for the dining room or “home” room wall to become a working space that at the end of the day can either continue to display the day’s lesson and then can be easily taken down and become an everyday space again.

So if you are getting holiday gift for the teachers in your child’s life this year - don’t forget to “stick” a package of UHU Tac in the box!
